Flute, Piccolo and Recorders.
Louise has been playing the flute, piccolo and recorders for nearly thirty years. She also teaches theory.
Inspired by musical parents she started playing the recorder at aged eight, and her flute at aged nine. By the age of seventeen she had completed her grade 8 flute and grade 5 theory with the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music.
During her younger years she was a member of The West of England Schools Symphonic Wind Band and the Brimsham Green Wind Band. This took her to various parts of the UK and France performing in concerts and taking part in competitions.
Louise performs as part of a flute and guitar duo with her brother James and is also a member of Worle Wind Band. She is a member of a Recorder Consort playing at various events at Bishops Palace in Wells.
Louise has experience playing various genres of music and loves being introduced to new music by students and other professionals.
With a positive and encouraging teaching style she is happy to teach children and adults.
