Naomi is an award winning singer, vocal tutor and choir director passionate about nurturing young voices and unlocking a student’s unique vocal potential.

Naomi Davies - Vocal Teacher.

She discovered her love for teaching whilst studying music at the University of Southampton when she was Musical Director of their pop and gospel choir Jazzmanix.

Since completing her Master’s degree in Performance and Pedagogy (vocal specialism) from the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire, Naomi has kept a busy and varied diary of professional engagements including being guest soloist at the ‘Music in Nineteenth-Century Britain’ Conference, head judge for Rugby’s ‘Young Vocalist of the Year’ competition, and performing with female vocal ensemble ‘Lyrica’ and chamber choir ‘Costanzi Consort’.

Naomi moved back to North Somerset in 2018 and has been a member of the Music Makers Academy team ever since. She teaches classical, musical theatre and pop genres to all ages and abilities and believes in building a strong technical foundation so students can enjoy singing many different styles and become confident, versatile musicians.

When she’s not singing or teaching, you’ll probably find Naomi enjoying a large cup of tea and a tv quiz show, or having a board game night with friends.
